Just a quick Tsitsikamma-gram

Last week I was lucky enough to explore Tsitsikamma and its surrounds in the Eastern Cape with Travel Cacadu. While I’ve been to Tsitsikamma twice before (when I hiked the Otter Trail), I got to spend time enjoying Storms River Village. From eating at a Marilyn Monroe-themed diner, to gliding through the treetops on a Canopy Tour, this area is absolutely awesome for a break from the pace of city life. The surrounds held just as many interesting places including the Oudebosch Farmstall, a working protea farm and a honeybush tea estate.

I’ll be putting up some blogs over the coming weeks of all the experiences that I crammed into just three days, but for now, here are some pictures from my trip. My first post on visiting the Tsitsikamma Big Tree is already up, check it out here.

Guys. These cuties were just chilling next to the road heating up this morning inside the Tsitsikamma National Park. Our kayak guide explained that because they live to so close to the park’s restaurant, they’re ‘faaancy’ because they’ve developed a taste for burgers and tjips. And then one stretched and it looked like a puppy and I melted. Basically. #TravelCacadu View on Instagram

A self-appointed director of happiness amongst my friends and family, I spend my days writing, brainstorming online marketing ideas and figuring out which country is next on the bucket list of places to see.

Got something to say?
